中文摘要: 空间映射技术是一种先进的建模和优化设计技术。它利用快速的粗糙模型来替代高精度但通常也高耗时的精细模型(如电磁仿真模型)。粗糙模型是基于物理特性的模型(如等效电路模型等),其特点是计算速度快但对精度要求不高。使用空间映射技术来开发高频电路替代模型和优化设计兼有快速和精确的特点。本研究针对空间映射技术目前面临的主要问题和挑战提出了四个新颖的研究课题。这些课题包括通过融入非线性方法进一步提高空间映射的精度和可适用范围;研究适用于周期结构的新型器件和新材料的调试空间映射技术;全面研究和探索高适应性粗网格电磁仿真模型(该模型可适用于任意微波射频器件的建模)用于空间映射的粗糙模型技术;研究开发高频通讯系统空间映射自动建模和设计优化技术。本课题组有多年空间映射建模和设计优化技术的研究经验,研究开发出世界领先的多种空间映射技术。这些技术被美国飞思卡尔半导体公司和美国安捷伦公司等多家世界著名企业应用。

英文摘要: Space mapping (SM) is an innovative modeling and optimization technique. It exploits a fast but not very accurate physics-based (e.g., equivalent circuit model) coarse model as a surrogate of a highly accurate but CPU-intensive fine model (e.g., electromagnetics simulation model). SM techniques are fast, efficient and convenient in high frequency surrogate modeling and design optimization. We propose 4 novel research topics aiming to tackle the main challenges of space mapping techniques. The topics include using nonlinear approach to enhance the accuracy and enlarge the modeling region, in-depth research of tuning space mapping modeling and design of novel periodical structures and new materials, exploring the versatile coarse-mesh electromagnetics simulation model as SM coarse model, and research and development of desired automatic modeling and design optimization technique. Our research team has many years of experience in SM modeling and design optimization. Our research results are cutting-edge and adopted by many world-leading companies such as Freescale Semiconductor Inc. and Agilent.
