中文摘要: 地下水补给与排泄是地下水循环的两个重要过程。这些过程随时空变化,影响并控制着地下水动态与资源可利用量,乃至流域的生态与环境。深刻理解并掌握地下水补给与排泄的时空变化规律不仅对水文地质学的发展有着重要的理论意义,而且对地下水资源管理与水环境保护具有重要的实际意义。目前我们对地下水补给与排泄过程的时空变化规律认识十分不足,其主要原因是地下水补给与排泄受诸多因素影响且难以直接观测。因此,地下水补给与排泄是国际地下水科学研究的前沿课题之一。观测表明,地下水位的变化是地下水系统对补给和排泄的动态响应,地下水位的变化隐含着地下水补给和排泄的重要信息。而地下水位的变化相对容易观测,已积累了大量资料。本项目在分析地下水位观测数据的基础上,使用随机方法和数值模拟研究地下水位的时间尺度效应及其与地下水补给和排泄时空变化的关系以及非均质和河流对地下水位时间尺度效应的影响,以揭示地下水补给与排泄等过程的变化规律。

英文摘要: Groundwater recharge and discharge are two important processes in a basin-scale groundwater cycle. These processes vary with time and space and they affect and control groundwater variations and availabel groundwater resouces. A deep understanding of these processes is not only therotically important but practically significant in effective management of water resources and environment. Groundwater recharge and discharge is thus in the frontier of international groundwater research. Currently, we know little about the nature of groundwater recharge and dischage, especially their temporal and spacial variations. The main reason is because groundwater recharge and discharge are affected by many factors and are usually difficult to meansure. On the other hand, it is relatively easy to measure the changes in groundwater levels. There are aboundant data of observed groundwater levels. In this project based on the analyses of groundwater level data, we will investigate the scaling of groundwater level variations and its relation to variations of groundwater recharge and discharge with stochastic analyses and numerical simulations. We will also study the effect of aquifer heterogeneity and fluctuations of river stages on scaling of groundwater levels to improve our understanding of the processes of groundwater recharge
