中文摘要: 紫外飞秒光梳可拓展光场时频域精密操控的范畴,有望推进精密光谱学向紫外及X 射线波段延伸发展,对一些基本物理常数的精确测量等相关基础科学问题以及尖端高新技术发展都具有重要的科学意义。本项目研究将表面光场增强效应与高次谐波过程相结合,利用振荡器输出的高重复频率的近红外波段周期量级飞秒脉冲序列,有效地产生紫外飞秒光梳;理论和实验深入研究其内在物理机制、实现条件和物理规律,发展和完善表面增强紫外飞秒光梳产生的基本理论和实验方案,探究光场增强新模式,操控电子波包在表面光场中的演化,优化控制紫外飞秒光梳产生,结合表面吸附单层分子膜等技术,控制分子空间排列取向,拓展其应用范畴,形成紫外飞秒光梳产生的新概念与新技术。该项目研究可克服现有方案输出耦合难、光场控制复杂等缺陷,具有结构紧凑稳定性好等特点,为紫外飞秒光梳的产生提供一个全新的概念,推进该研究领域的发展,同时为紫外精密光谱学和极短波段非线性光学的研究发展新原理与新方法。

英文摘要: Extreme-ultraviolet (XUV) frequency combs will extend the concept of optical field manipulation and the study of precision spectroscopy to the XUV region, which are significantly important for fundamentally scientific issues (e.g. physical constants precise measurements) and the rapid development of high technologies. This project is focused on the generation of XUV frequency combs through high-harmonic processes in gases by using surface enhanced optical fields, driving by IR high-repetition femtosecond pulses. The underlying physics, principles and experimental realization situations will be studied. The basic theory and experimental scheme on this topic will be constructed and developed. We will explore new approaches to obtain surface enhanced optical fields, and investigate the electron wave-packet evolution in the surface enhanced optical fields. This study will also extend the application of XUV frequency combs by combining the technique of adherence of molecules to the surface and control of the moelcular alignemnt. XUV frequency comb generation by surface enhaced optical fields has the advantages of sufficient, realizable and compact, which can also overcome the shortcomings of the conventional scheme with stabilized external-cavities (e.g. output coupling). This study will provide us a newly efficient approach to generate XUV frequency combs and lead this field to a new stage, which will also develope new methods for XUV precision spectroscopy and ultrashort wavelength nonlinear optics.
