中文摘要: 发展基于光声成像技术的组织光学吸收系数和组织体内温度特性测量的新方法,并应用于肿瘤光热治疗优化方案选择及其治疗过程的监控.拟将脉冲激光照射碳纳米管增强的肿瘤组织,由背向的超声换能器平移扫描采集光声信号,得到肿瘤空间分布的光声图像,并由光声信号反演出肿瘤的光学吸收系数;然后将肿瘤的吸收系数的分布与基于图形处理的Monte Carlo模拟数值计算出肿瘤光热治疗的光剂量。最后,在肿瘤治疗过程中采用光声成像技术实时监测肿瘤内温度的变化,并根据温度变化情况及时地调整优化治疗光剂量。此方案为临床治疗肿瘤提供依据。创新点包括:提出基于光声成像技术的光学吸收系数和温度监测的测量技术;实验测量与理论数值模拟有机结合;将光声成像导引与温度监控和肿瘤治疗相结合等。预期将发展新光声成像原理和数值模拟技术,实现肿瘤的光热治疗方案的确立和治疗过程的监测。

英文摘要: We propose to develop a novel method for measuring optical absorption properties and temperature characteristics of biological tissues using photoacoustic imaging, and to use this method to monitor and guide photothermal treatment of tumor. We plan to use a pulsed laser to irradiate target tumors with absorption enhancement by carbon nanotubes, and to detect the photoacoustic signals using a focusing ultrasonic transducer. The photoacoustic image of the tumor will be acquired by a scanning transducer; the corresponding absorption coefficient of the tumor will be derived using the photoacoustic signals. Furthermore, the distribution of the light dose in the target tumor during photothermal treatment will be determined by graphics-based Monte Carlo simulation using the absorption coefficient. Finally, we will employ photoacoustic imaging to monitor temperature distribution in the target tumor during the laser photothermal treatment, and adjust the light dose in real-time based on the temperature distribution in tumor. This project will provide a basis for an effective, imaging-guided modality for treatment of cancer using laser-nanotechnology and photoacoustic technique.
