中文摘要: 金属玻璃处于热力学亚稳态结构,相对于晶态合金有更松散的原子结构,有比较低的密度和弹性模量,其弹性行为对外部压力极其敏感。但是目前对结构演化导致的弹性性能改变研究很少,而弹性行为又是金属玻璃的主要优势性能所在,以此为出发点本项目主要研究金属玻璃在准静态压缩后弹性行为的改变及其与微观结构演化的关联。压缩可以重构金属玻璃的自由体积分布,调制材料的内部微结构,这些可以通过弹性模量、屈服强度、弹性极限等弹性参数来反应。而弹性性能的改变同样可以反映金属玻璃结构的基本特征。本项目以准静态压缩为手段驱动金属玻璃微观结构调整,由此引发弹性性能的变化,这将弹性行为与结构演化联系起来,对金属玻璃结构性能的探索和实际应用都具有深远意义。

英文摘要: Metallic glasses have a thermodynamic metastable structure and loose atomic configuration compared to crystalline alloys, which leads to relatively low density and elastic moduli. Their elastic behavior is very sensitive to external pressure. Excellent elasticity is a main advantage of metallic glasses for application. However, there is only a small amount of research on the elastic properties inducing by structure evolution. Regarding the importance of elasticity, the project mainly studies the change and relationship of elastic behavior and microstructure of metallic glasses under quasi-static compression. Quasi-static compression can reconstruct the "free volume" and modulate the microstructure for the metallic glasses, which will inevitably lead to the change of elastic behavior of metallic glasses. The induced structure evolution can also be reflected by elastic moduli, yield strength, and elastic strain limit. At the same time, the change of elasticity can indicate the structural essence of metallic glasses. The project traces the structure evolution by elastic behavior change for metallic glasses, which has far-reaching significance for practical application and exploration of performance.
