中文摘要: 针对引起北极海冰快速减退的热力学机制问题,以不同表面特征的海冰光学性质为研究对象,依据"点-线-面"相结合的原则,进行"海-冰-空"联合考察作业,重点开展融雪覆盖海冰的衰减系数剖面观测和融池冰的透射辐射观测。结合融池面积航拍数据、区域海冰厚度分布资料和已有的北极夏季海冰反照率和透射率观测数据,研究北极快速变化条件下融化季海冰的光学属性,分析融雪覆盖海冰和融池冰对太阳短波辐射能的吸收作用,进一步揭示太阳短波辐射能在区域冰洋系统中的分配规律,从而量化太阳辐射能在海冰融化过程中的贡献。该项目的研究成果将有助于提高人们对北极海冰快速减退机制的认识,为积极应对这一变化趋势提供必要的理论指导,同时可以改进气候模式中的冰雪反照率参数化方案,改善模式的模拟和预测能力。

英文摘要: In order to study the thermodynamics' process of sea ice melting in a rapid Arctic, we will observe the optical properties of sea ice with difference surface types, such as melt snow-covered ice and ponded ice, in the means of Autonomous & Remotely-operated Vehicle (ARV)-ice-helicopter based system. The concern of field observing is put on investigating the profiles of attenuation coefficient of the melt snow-covered sea ice and the transmittance sections through the ponded ice. Moreover, the capability of absorbing solar radiation by melt snow-covered ice and ponded ice will be assessed. With the data of local ice thickness, fraction of melt pond, albedo and transmittance of the summer sea ice, the partitioning of solar radiation in a local ice-ocean system will be quantified. The results of this study will improve the understanding of thermodynamics' forcing to significantly decline of sea ice in the Arctic and provide a better parameterization of snow-ice albedo in the general climate model.
