中文摘要: 本项目拟选取生长在土壤等介质环境中的植物根系为研究对象,以自动获取植物根系的原位构型特征参数为主要研究目标;以X 射线平板探测成像方法为获取原位根系几何信息的主要技术特征;旨在突破原位根系的三维可视化测量分析技术瓶颈,为根系生物学、形态学和营养学等相关学科的深入研究提供一种现代化的分析手段和可视化的研究平台。 项目拟借助X 射线平板探测成像技术获取生长在土壤等介质环境中植物根系的原位断层序列图像,通过图像处理、分析和三维重建等计算机图像图形处理方法逐步提取原位根系的平面和立体构型参数,进而实现对植物根系原位构型特征的无损检测、自动测量与定量分析。研究获得的技术方法将在不改变或不破坏植物根系在介质环境中的原始几何状态的前提下,实现对植物根系原位构型的自动、连续、动态的无损检测与定量分析。

英文摘要: Root is an important organ for plant to uptake nutrient and water from the surrounding soil. And the capability of plant to obtain nutrient and water is closely relevant to its root distribution and architecture under ground. Soil is the source of water and nutrients for plant; however, it also obstructs the observation and measurement of the root system. Because of the special growing environment and complex structure, the root system is more difficult to quantify than the shoot. The lack of the advanced observation and measurement methods for root architecture in situ has been a technical bottleneck for researches on plant root systems in the fields including root morphology and root biology. In order to measure root architecture and quantify root system, researches on the methods of simulation and visualization for plant root have been the hotspot of the relevant fields in recent years. To solve the technical problem of observation and measurement for 3D architecture of plant root in situ, the research is aimed at implementing the three-dimensional visualization and nondestructive detection of root system in situ using X-ray CT technology based on flat detector.
