中文摘要: 传统的道路交通安全评价以事故统计为基础,具有评价分析周期长、统计数据样本量小等缺点,本项目以交通冲突理论为基础,结合计算机视觉、模式识别、运动图像分析等技术,利用视频图像序列研究道路交叉口非事故统计安全评价分析的理论与方法。项目研究的主要内容为:(1)基于图像序列分析的交通元素运动趋势预测与冲突点检测;(2)基于图像序列分析的交通冲突严重程度量化模型;(3)基于图像序列分析的安全评价模型与事故预测模型。通过关键技术的攻关,可以解决交通冲突自动检测的瓶颈技术,不但可以实现交通冲突检测的自动化,使交通冲突技术的应用可以从安全评价向交通安全监控发展,而且可以获得更为详细、准确的交通冲突参数,有利于构建更加准确的交通冲突量化指标体系,进一步完善和发展交通冲突理论与技术。以项目研究成果为基础开发的交通冲突分析软硬件系统,可广泛应用于道路交叉口的安全评价与安全预警,具有良好的应用前景和实用价值。

英文摘要: Traditionally road accident statistics are used to assess the level of road safety and evaluate road safety programs. In some cases, the lack of good and reliable accident records have hampered proper analyses. In this project, traffic conflict of intersection is analyzed based on image sequences. The base theory is traffic conflict. The base techniques are computer vision, pattern recognition, and movement image analysis. The main research includes: 1) Conflict point detection based on movement analysis and prediction using image sequence analysis; 2) The model for quantifying the severity of traffic conflict based on image sequence analysis; 3) Traffic safety assessment and traffic accidents prediction. Automatic detecting traffic conflict is the key problem for traffic conflict analysis. Key technology will be researched for it, and traffic conflict will be detected automatically. As the research results, not only traffic safety assessment but also traffic safety monitor can be developed using traffic conflict technique, and more accurate traffic conflict parameters will be detected. The traffic conflict analysis system based on the research results can be used in traffic safety assessment and traffic safety warning. It has good application prospect and practical values.
