中文摘要: 技术密集型企业的创新能力是国际竞争的焦点,也是创新型国家建设的主要内容。采用开放式创新模式实现创新能力快速提升是一个仍需解决的问题。本项目通过文献分析、案例分析、专利数据分析、中外比较研究等方法,对开放式创新环境下企业创新能力演化机理及创新能力提升机制进行深入探究。研究提出发展中国家的开放式创新概念,认为这是一个发展的过程,开放式创新与创新能力提升存在互动影响关系,并提出了开放式创新战略与创新能力提升的演化模型。在丰富的案例等研究基础上,研究项目提出开放式创新战略的选择和使用不仅受到企业创新能力的影响,而且也受到企业的产业性质、行业产品市场规模、行业核心技术属性、用户特性、行业的竞争集中度、行业技术的垄断性等各种因素的影响。通过国内外专利数据分析,本研究提出在创新能力提升过程中,企业内外部资源的使用过程中的组织学习、利用绩效、学习时间、吸收能力等,比较了中外企业开放式创新环境下创新能力提升的不同。本研究丰富了开放式创新、创新能力演化和技术追赶理论和模型,为我国技术密集型产业在资源紧缺和无边界竞争环境下快速提升创新能力提供科学的理论指导和实践工具。

英文摘要: The innovation capability of tech-intensive industries is critical in the world competition. In addition, it is one of the key contents of innovative country building. Open innovation is thought as one of methods to improve the innovation capabilities, which still needs to be resolved. The project studies the issues on innovation capabilities and their evolution under the context of open innovation through via research methods, such as the archival analyses, cases studies, patent data analyses, international comparative research. Based on analyses, this research reveals that it is a developing process to adopt open innovation strategies in developing countries. Therefore, the research proposes a research framework to analyze the co-evolution relationship between open innovation strategies and innovation capability improvement. In addition, the strategic decision of open innovation is impacted by the characteristics of the industry, the nature of core technology, the size of market, the consumer behavior, the competitiveness of the industry, and the monopoly of the technology. Furthermore, the USPTO and Chinese patent data analyses suggest that the learning process is a central issue during the development of innovation capabilities and usage of external resources. On the other hand, the learning duration, the learning performance, and the utilization of patents are different in industries and influenced by the absorptive capacity. Moreover, the research indicates that the national innovation system will influence the improvement of innovation capacity and the absorption of external innovation sources. This research enriches the theories on innovation management, open innovation, and so on. Additionally, it provides comments and suggestions on the utilization of external sources and innovation capability improvement in the serious global competition to the firms and police-makers.
