中文摘要: 本项目拟开展Airy光纤特性及其制备方法研究,这种特殊设计的二维微结构光纤由包层、一组或多组阵列光波导纤芯构成,每一组阵列纤芯的空间排布满足或近似满足Airy函数,并且总会存在某一长度的Airy光纤,当向光纤一端输入高斯光束时,通过纤芯之间的光耦合,光纤另一端每一组阵列纤芯的出射光束的光强分布都满足或近似满足于Airy光束的光强分布。这种特殊的二维微结构光纤在纤端出射的光束继承或部分继承了Airy光束的三大特性,即光束具有横向加速、无衍射和自愈能力。这种基于特种二维微结构光纤的光学器件整体上具有结构微小、操作灵活、系统稳定和抗干扰能力强等特点。因此开展Airy光纤的研究,对于开拓Airy光束生成的新方法、Airy光束制备的新器件、Airy光学干涉与传输特性研究以及微粒操控等微光学领域具有十分重要的学术研究价值和广泛的应用前景。

英文摘要: The purpose of this project is to invention a novel Airy optical fiber and developing its fabrication methodology. This kind special designed two-dimensional microstructured fiber consists of a cladding and one array or two orthogonal array or multi circularly array optical waveguide cores. The cores distribution in cross section of the fiber is satisfied or approximately satisfied Airy function. The three characteristics of Airy beam are inherited or partially inherited for the output optical beam from the specialty designed two-dimensional microstructured optical fiber end, i.e. the ability of beam accelerating, beam diffraction-free and self healing when the beam has been turbulent in the way of propagation. There are many unique features of the Airy beam generator by using the Airy fiber, such as small size, easy handling, stable and strong anti-jamming capability. Therefore, it have a great scientific significant to investigate the Airy fiber and using the Airy fiber to develop a novel Airy beam generation method. The Airy fiber will be play an important role in the Airy beam component fabrication, Airy beam propagation investigation, Airy beam coherence technology and Airy beam application for small particles manipulation.
