中文摘要: 本项目计划利用2013年4月发生的Ms7.0级四川芦山地震丰富的余震和较密集的临时地震台站,综合运用多种地震成像方法对发震区结构进行精细成像。计划采用的地震成像方法包括地震速度成像,地震衰减成像,地震各向异性成像和地下介质间断面地震散射成像。为了更准确地确定Vs、Vp/Vs模型和地震衰减模型Q,计划发展新的基于交叉梯度约束的地震成像算法。在约束成像算法中,Vs、Vp/Vs模型以及Q模型要在满足各自数据的前提下,尽可能在结构上和Vp模型一致。通过综合地震成像,可以获得发震区的Vp、Vs、Vp/Vs、Q、各向异性和间断面结构,有助于研究芦山地震的发震机理以及结构和破裂过程之间的关系。另外,计划利用芦山地震和汶川地震的余震确定两个地震之间余震空白区的速度结构。本项研究有助于更好地理解龙门山断裂带大地震的发生和地震灾害的评估。

英文摘要: This research proposes to use the abundant aftershocks and relatively dense temporary seismic stations to study the seismogenic zone structure of the 2013 Ms 7.0 Lushan earthquake by using multiple seismic imaging methods. These methods include seismic velocity tomography, seismic attenuation tomography, seismic anisotropy tomography, and seismic structure imaging using scattered waves. To more reliably determine Vs, Vp/Vs and Q models, we plan to develop cross-gradient based seismic imaging methods, in which these models are required to be structurally consistent with the Vp model while fitting the data. From multiple seismic imaging, we can obtain different models of Vp, Vs, Vp/Vs, Q, anisotropy and discontinuity. The combination of these models is very helpful for understanding the potential mechanisms for causing the Lushan earthquake, and the relationship between the fault structure and the earthquake rupture. In addition, we also plan to determine the velocity structure of the aftershock gap between the Lushan and Wenchuan earthquakes. This research is useful for better understanding the generation of large earthquakes along the Longmenshan fault system and for better characterizing the future earthquake hazard.
