中文摘要: 电子轨道指的是原子、分子中电子云的分布,它是原子分子物理研究的基本问题之一。激光与原子、分子的相互作用受到了电子波函数的调制,也在不同方面体现出这种调制的影响,这使得我们可以采用新的方法观测原子、分子中的电子轨道。本项目即利用强激光场中原子、分子多光子电离的光电子以及伴生的高次谐波,对原子、分子中电子的轨道成像。这是当前强激光与原子、分子相互作用研究的一个重要应用,也是激光物理研究的前沿课题之一。我们将在既有研究成果的基础上,发展新的迭代算法,利用光电子能谱和高次谐波能谱,对惰性气体原子的基态电子轨道、几种常用分子的最高占有轨道成像,并通过选择合适的强度和波长,首次对分子的次高占有轨道成像。本项目在研究方法上有创新,在研究内容上有突破,研究结果在多个研究领域有应用。

英文摘要: Electronic orbitals denote the probability distribution of the bound electron in atoms and molecules, which is a basic topic in atomic and molecular physics. Interaction of laser with atoms and molecules is modulated by the electronic distribution, and hence the modulation presents a direct way to detect the electronic orbitals in atoms and molecules. This item uses the photoelectrons in multiphoton ionization and the accompanying harmonics generated from atoms and molecules irraidated by intense laser pulses to image the electronic distributions in atomic and molecular states. This is an importrant application in the study of intense laser with atoms and molecules, and also is a froniter of laser physics. Our study is based on our recent findings, and will develop a new recurrence algorithm, to image the atomic ground states and the high-occupaid molecular orbtials of several frequently used molecules by means of the photoelectron spectra and high harmonic spectra. More importrantly, we will image the low-lying molecular orbitals beside the high-occupaid molecular orbitals for the first time by properly choosing the wavelength and intensity of the driving laser fields. This item brings froth new ideas in research method, and makes breaks in research contents, and the research results will be used in many fields of scitenfic study.
