中文摘要: 无损耗和各向同性是当前国际上利用负折射率介质实现超高分辨率的"超透镜"和隐身"斗篷"的两个瓶颈。本项目在我们前期利用量子光学理论实现了光频段负折射率的操控可能性的工作基础之上,针对当前国际上采用优化负折射率介质设计结构和利用增益介质补偿损耗的方法仅获得较低损耗和各向异性的负折射率介质的研究现状,提出一种原子水平的、具有天然各向同性的、无损耗负折射率介质新方案:(1)研究以原子气和量子点构成的光子共振材料实现负折射率介质中损耗产生和消除的各种可能机制,(2)研究具有手性特征介质实现负折射率频段损耗产生和消除的可能机制;从而建立新的无损耗、各向同性负折射率介质的研究理论。本研究不仅能为超高分辨率的"超透镜"和隐身"斗篷"的试验研究提供理论参考和科学依据;而且可推动当前国际负折射率介质深层次理论与应用基础问题的发展。

英文摘要: Lossless and isotropic are the two international bottlenecks of the current research on the making ultra-high resolution "super-lens" and the invisibility "cloak" by negative index media(NIM). The proposal proposes a program for atomic scale, natural isotropic NIM without loss based on the previous work, which obtained the possibility of realizing the negative index of refraction in the visible light frequency band using quantum optics theory.And our proposal that differs from the current optimized structure designs,gain compensation for loss to achieve low-loss NIM intends to investgate: (1)the various possibilities of the loss's production and elimination in NIM obtained by photonic resonance media(atomic gases,quantum dots), (2) the implementation of NIM without loss in electromagnetic induced chiral medium, and then obtains a key theory for non-loss, isotropic NIM. Our proposal can not only provides the guiding for experiment research on the high resolution"super-lens"and invisibility "cloak",but also can promote the current development of the advanced theory and applications for NIM.
