中文摘要: 本项目提出采用双电子注与亚波长孔结构中表面等离子体波互作用产生相干太赫兹辐射的设想,充分利用亚波长孔阵列结构中表面等离子体波耦合特性,增强注波互作用,有望发展成为高效率的真空电子学太赫兹器件。本项目将采用理论分析、粒子模拟与实验相结合的方法,研究亚波长孔阵列结构中表面等离子体波的耦合特性以及与双电子注互作用的物理过程,探讨亚波长孔阵列结构中相干衍射辐射的物理机制。在理论分析和模拟研究的基础上,构建辐射频率0.5-1THz原理性实验装置,通过实验验证亚波长孔阵列结构和工作电流等参数对相干衍射辐射强度以及辐射频率的影响规律。本项目的研究成果对小型化真空电子学器件的发展具有重要的意义。

英文摘要: We propose to develop THz radiation sources based on the interaction of electron beam and surface plasmon wave in the subwavelength holes array. We utilize the transimision characteristic of the structure to enhance the interaction of electron beam and surface plasmon waves. It will effectively decrease the strating current density and increase the efficiency of beam-wave interaction. Superradiation of subwavelength holes array is excited by the moduled electron beam, and the frequency of the radiation will be higher. Making use of the theoretical analytic and experimental research, the project will focus on the mechanism of the interaction of dual electron beam with subwavelength holes array and the coherent diffraction radiation in the subwavelength holes array with various parameters. Based on the theory and the computer simulation, the test experimental will carry on the 0.5-1THz frequency regime. The final purpose of this project is to develop a tunable practical THz vacuum electronic diffraction radiation device.
