中文摘要: 本项目开展了太赫兹波段碳纳米管束天线的模型和辐射特性研究。首先从单壁和多壁碳纳米管入手,研究它们的分布电路参数,寻求单位长度串联电阻、串联电感和对地并联电容的精确预估方法,建立包含量子效应的单壁和多壁管束的等效电路模型和管束线形天线的辐射模型。应用电磁场数值方法(例如矩量法等)数值计算管束中的电流分布,揭示其随单壁/多壁碳纳米管束的半径、管间距、管数目、管束长度和工作频率的变化规律。进而数值分析多种形状碳纳米管束天线的辐射场分布、天线效率、特征阻抗和天线增益等性能参数,探索增强和改进碳纳米管束天线辐射性能的物理途径和优化设计方法。

英文摘要: This project has been carried out on the model for carbon nanotube (SWCNT) bundle antennas in terahertz frequency range and research on its radiation characteristics. Firstly, single- and multi-walled carbon nanotubes cases are investigated. Distributed circuit parameters and accurate estimation method to retrieve series resistance, series inductance, and shunt capacitance is pursued. The equivalent circuit model of the single- and multi-walled carbon nanotube bundle including the quantum effect and the radiation model of the line-shaped antennas are established. In order to find the effects of cross-sectional size, tube diameter, tube length, and operating frequency, the electromagnetic numerical methods such as method of moments etc. are applied to investigate the current distributions in such nanotube bundles. Furthermore, performance parameters (radiation pattern, efficiency, characteristic impedance, and gain etc.) of antennas are analyzed numerically, physical methods and optimization toward radiation performance improvement of bundle antenna are explored.
