中文摘要: 在微波高频段,微带天线由于其导体损耗,介质损耗以及表面波损耗增加使得天线增益下降,效率明显降低。该频段波导天线虽然损耗低,但由于尺寸太小,其加工难度以及成本上升,另外波导天线与平面有源或者无源器件不易集成也制约了其在微波高频段整机系统中的应用。新型传输结构间隙波导(Gap Waveguide,GW)于2009年提出,在微波高频段具有低损耗以及易集成等优势,且已经用于毫米波频段的无源器件设计中。本项目针对高频段天线效率降低的问题,首次将GW应用于天线设计中,通过理论分析与软件仿真相结合的方法,探索将GW应用于圆极化天线及其阵列的可行性及设计方法,利用该结构的低损耗特性以及其中EBG结构的表面波带隙特性,降低天线的馈线损耗以及表面波损耗,进而大幅度提升高频段天线的效率。期望为后续大型毫米波天线阵列设计奠定基础。

英文摘要: At the microwave high frequency band, the gain of microstrip antennas reduces with the increased conductor loss, dielectric loss and surface wave loss, and so does the efficiency. The waveguide antennas have the problem of small size, increased fabrication difficulty and cost although with low loss, and it also have the problem of integration with other planar passive and active devices, which constrain the application in the whole system at the same frequency band. The new transmission structure gap waveguide is proposed in 2009 with low insertion loss and easy integration, and it has been used in the millimeter wave band passive devices design. GW is used in the antenna design at the first time in the light of low efficiency in this project. Through the method of theory analysis and software simulation, the feasibility and design method is to be explored when GW is applied to the circular polarization antenna and array, thus it can greatly enhance the high frequency antenna efficiency thanks to the low insertion loss of GW and surface wave bandgap characteristic of EBG, which can reduce feedline loss and surface wave loss respectively. It is expected to pave the way for future large millimeter wave antenna array design.
