中文摘要: 聚乙烯醇(Polyvinyl Alcohol, PVA)凝胶是一种高分子水凝胶,有很好的生物相容性,与人体骨膜相似,在生物材料领域有潜在的重要价值。由于微观结构复杂性,凝胶材料性质特别是动态力学性能及微观机理研究不足,亟需进一步发展软材料的动态测试方法。本项目拟针对PVA凝胶在动态领域的应用,从微观模型与宏观实验相结合的方法,集中研究:(1)这类软物质材料在冲击条件下的率相关本构关系,包括应变率效应、损伤机理与演化规律等;(2)PVA凝胶的微观网络结构特征对材料宏观力学性能的影响;(3)发展新型的软材料动态实验技术,实现对PVA凝胶在霍普金森压杆(SHPB)实验中应力和应变的非接触式测量。本项目研究有助于理解软材料的动态性能及其影响因素,并为PVA凝胶的应用和材料优化设计提供理论基础与实验依据;还能促进冲击动力学、实验力学在实验测试技术与表征方法基础研究的发展,具有重要的理论和实际意义。

英文摘要: PVA (Polyvinyl Alcohol) gel is a polymer hydrogel, and it was found recently that the gel has very good biocompatibility and is similar with human periosteum in properties, in the field of biomaterials it will have potential important value. The microstructure complex results in insufficient research on material properties particularly dynamic mechanical properties and lack of explanation of the material properties with the microscopic mechanism. Aiming at the material application in the dynamic field, this project will study the dynamic mechanical properties by means combining microscopic models with macroscopic experiments, research will focus on: (1) the constitution with rate effects of such soft matters under impact conditions, including the strain rate effects, damage mechanisms and evolution of materials; (2) characteristics of PVA gel microscopic network structure on the macroscopic mechanical properties of materials; (3) the development of a new type of soft material dynamic experiments and measurement techniques to PVA gel to achieve non-contact measurement of stress and strain in the split Hopkinson pressure bars tests. The research project will not only help to understand the dynamic mechanical properties of soft matter materials and the key factors, but also to provide a theoretical basis and experimental evidence for the design and optimization of PVA gel in application; it also promotes development of impact dynamics, experimental mechanics in testing techniques and characterization methods, which has important theoretical and practical significance.
