中文摘要: 本项目研究内容主要为大规模 MIMO 系统所涉及的信号处理关键技术。首先,在下行链路中为了性能的提升申请者拟设计基于多支路选择的矢量预编码技术;我们在发送端拟采用一种新颖的多支路干扰消除策略来对数据进行预处理;针对每个支路我们研究不同的低复杂度减格辅助矢量预编码算法;在此基础上,我们拟提出简单有效的多支路选择机制,以选取最佳的适于信号传输的预处理支路。其次,在上行链路中为了降低算法的复杂度我们重点研究自适应reduced-rank接收算法,即将大规模天线接收到的高维数据向量通过投影处理映射到低维的信号子空间上来进行处理,从理论上探索大规模MIMO系统中基于训练数据的和盲的自适应高效reduced-rank接收算法;最后,申请者拟扩展所提出的上下行链路信号处理技术到多载波宽带传输环境,为了避免算法在多载波调制下的重复计算,拟研究高效计算方法来降低信号处理算法的复杂度。

英文摘要: Multi-input multi-output (MIMO) wireless communication devices that employ antenna arrays with a very large number of antenna elements which are known as massive MIMO systems have the potential to further increase the link quality, reliability, and data rate of the system. One of the main focuses of massive MIMO systems is signal processing. Current state-of-the-art in signal precoding suffers from performance degradation for massive MIMO transmit processing, and the existing detection technique requires a computational cost for receive processing that grows as a super-cubic function of the number of antennas. In this project, our aim is to propose advanced signal processing technology for massive MIMO systems. Firstly, in order to improve the performance of the downlink transmission we investigate the design of lattice-reduction-aided vector precoding technique based on a multibranch strategy. For each parallel branch we will study low-complexity vector precoding algorithms. An appropriate selection rule will be developed to choose the vector precoder corresponding to the best branch for data transmission. Secondly, in order to reduce the computational complexity for the uplink transmission we will focus on the studies of adaptive reduced-rank technique. Theoretically, we will study novel supervised and blind adaptive reduced-rank algorithms in massive MIMO systems. At last, we will extend the proposed signal processing techniques to multicarrier scenarios. Computationally efficient approaches will be developed for multicarrier massive MIMO systems.
