中文摘要: 通过配置大量发射天线和接收天线构建大规模MIMO系统,在无需改变现有无线通信架构的情况下,能显著提高数据传输速率,满足未来无线通信需求。而TDD大规模MIMO系统目前最大的性能瓶颈在于导频污染。导频污染能引起小区间干扰,导致系统性能出现饱和。因此,本项目重点研究TDD大规模MIMO系统上行链路的信道估计与导频设计,充分利用无线信道的稀疏性进行稀疏信道估计,减少导频开销;探索最优的导频设计准则及导频序列,优化导频结构;采用多小区协作及联合调度,进行多小区联合信道估计,并研究与之相匹配的下行链路最优波束成型方案,深入分析小区间干扰、系统容量、发射功率随基站天线数目和用户数目增长时的渐进变化规律,从而减少导频污染及小区间干扰,提高信道估计精度、降低运算复杂度、提升大规模MIMO系统总容量。本项目的研究工作将为实际大规模MIMO系统上行链路信道估计及导频设计提供依据。

英文摘要: The large-scale MIMO system, which is configured with a large number of transmit and receive antennas, is capable of distinctively improving the data rate without modifications to current wireless communication architectures, and therefore meets the demands of future wireless communications. However, the biggest bottleneck of the performance of TDD large-scale MIMO systems is the pilot contamination, which can lead to inter-cell interference and throughput saturation. So our project will focus on the channel estimation and pilot design for the uplink of TDD large-scale MIMO systems, aiming to reduce the pilot contamination. It will explore the inherent sparsity of the wireless channels and take advantages of sparse channel estimation to reduce the pilot overhead. The optimal criterion of pilot design as well as the optimal pilot sequences will be studied so that the pilots are completely optimized. Multi-cell joint channel estimation and the corresponding optimal downlink beamforming will be investigated with limited cooperation of neighboring cells and joint scheduling. Moreover, the asymptotic analysis on inter-cell interference, overall capacity, and transmit power along with the increasing number of transmit antennas and users will be given.
