中文摘要: 冰川物质平衡与区域气候变化紧密相连,而冰川物质的估算离不开冰川内部参数的获取。本项目在前期研究的基础上,拟选取典型的北极多温冰川,结合已开展的北极冰川实测工作(包括高精度GPS监测、高密度动态GPS测量、GPR探测等),进一步拓展冰川监测力度,以GPS、GPR、GIS为主要技术手段,建立多功能冰川连续监测站,深入开展冰下地形和冰川内部特征探测;利用冰雷达波速标定测量点阵,研究建立雷达波速三维分布模型,精确估算多温冰川物质变化;综合运用多种技术手段和软件算法,着重研究冰川的运动规律、内部结构、物质变化以及冰川表面至底部的变化关联特征,增进对多温冰川的科学认知,为探索多温冰川与区域气候的响应关系打下基础。

英文摘要: Mass balance is connected with regional climate change, in which the subglacial features is important for mass estimation. This project intends to select some typical Arctic polythermal glaciers, establishing continuous GPS monitoring stations, expanding subglacial detection, developing new algorithm on mass evaluation, to reveal a new understanding of polythermal glaciers mainly by GPS and GPR technology. In order to reach this object, the applicant has been doing fundamental works on two Arctic mountain glaciers near Chinese Arctic Yellow River Station since 2005, including high-precision GPS monitoring, dynamic GPS measurements, ground penetrating radar (GPR) detection. Based on the preliminary works, this project will further expand glacier monitoring techniques, combined with the data from automatic weather stations, snow pit measurements and ICESat satellite observation, to improve the scientific knowledge of polythermal glaciers focusing on the internal structure of the glacier, mass change and geodynamic mechanism.
