中文摘要: 团簇由多个金属中心组成,具有特殊的物理性质。为了更好地实现将团簇作为功能材料加以应用的目标,团簇的功能化显得尤为重要。本项目拟设计与合成具有重要科学意义和应用前景的团簇功能体系,应用后修饰手段实现团簇功能化,并通过团簇的调整、组装、优化实现其性能的调控与协同,从而发挥团簇的优势并发现新功能。具体内容包括在团簇形成之前预先植入有机官能团;在形成官能化的团簇前体后,进行团簇的共价后修饰,运用单晶结构分析、核磁、紫外、红外、发射光谱以及圆二色谱等技术手段,阐明团簇功能化中的结构与性能关系,揭示团簇作为分子材料的优势,探索团簇作为纳米材料的前景,为团簇作为新材料在生物、环境等领域的应用打下基础。

英文摘要: Clusters are large molecular compounds containing more than two metal centers and may have special physical properties. In order to apply metal clusters as functional materials, the functionalization of clusters is an important issue. We intend to synthesize and study functional cluster systems with potential applications. Post-clustering covalent modification method will be employed to realize the functionalization of clusters. Effort will be paid to modulate the properties of clusters by tuning the structures of clusters, and to promote various functions through the assembly of clusters into aggregates or higher dimensional frameworks. The investigation includes the pre-functionalization of organic ligands, the preparation of functionalized clusters and the post-clustering covalent modification. X-ray single crystal structural analysis, NMR, UV-Vis, IR, emission spectra and CD spectrometry will be used to characterize the structures and properties of the target clusters, to reveal the advantages of clusters as molecular functional materials, to seek the prospect of applying clusters as nanomaterials. The understandings of cluster systems will provide a solid basis for the applications of clusters as new materials in biological and environmental areas.
