中文摘要: 已有客体识别脑机制研究大多集中于脑区功能特异性,而对大脑中多个客体识别脑区构成的脑网络研究较少。本项目将对全脑客体识别脑区构成的结构和功能网络进行系统研究。首先,我们将采用任务fMRI定位全脑参与客体识别的脑功能区,并基于DTI、静息和任务fMRI分别构建这些脑区间的结构、静息和任务功能连接,建立客体识别脑连接网络图谱,对客体识别脑网络进行全面描述。进而,采用基于图论的脑复杂网络分析方法,对客体识别脑网络进行研究,揭示客体识别脑网络的结构和功能组织。另外,本项目还将考察客体识别网络的个体差异,建立脑网络对客体识别能力的预测模型,揭示客体识别脑网络的行为学意义。

英文摘要: Object recognition is one of most important skills in our daily life, and numerous neuroimaging studies have identified multiple brain regions that are dedicated to the ability. However, no study yet comprehensively explores the structural and functional networks formed by the multiple brain regions for object recognition. Here, by integrating diffusion MRI, resting-state and task-state fMRI, we aim to delineate the structural and functional brain networks for object recognition. Specially, we will first localize all brain regions which are involved in object recognition by task-state fMRI. Next, using the localized brain regions as nodes, the structural and functional brain networks for object recognition will be constructed based on DTI fiber tracking and functional connectivity analysis, respectively. Then, the properties of the structural and functional networks for object recognition will be quantitatively characterized at the level of the entire network, sub-network, and individual regions with the graph theoretical metrics, such as hubs, local efficiency, global efficiency, modularity, and hierarchy.
