中文摘要: 在IT、通讯、制造业、交通、航空航天、国防等领域中广泛应用的不间断电源(UPS),其软肋是蓄电池,维护成本高,可靠性低。燃料电池取代蓄电池为UPS系统提供了高效率、长寿命、高可靠性、长备用和环保的解决方案。本项目基于质子交换膜燃料电池特性和UPS需求,探索适合质子交换膜燃料电池UPS系统的电力电子功率变换构架和控制方法,实现从氢能到交流电能高效率的能量转换,提升系统的经济性。针对质子交换膜燃料电池固有特性,研究燃料电池UPS系统能量管理方案,解决燃料电池特性与负载对电能质量需求的匹配问题。探索无电解电容母线支撑技术,以进一步提升系统的寿命和可靠性。解决燃料电池冷启动的难题,实现供电模式之间无缝切换,确保负载供电质量和燃料电池的安全。研制燃料电池UPS试验平台,验证所提出的理论和方法。预期成果将为燃料电池UPS系统的工程化实践提供理论指导。

英文摘要: The Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) is widely applied in IT, communication, manufacturing, transportation, aerospace, national defense, etc. The soft spot of UPS is its battery which leads to high maintenance costs and low reliability. Therefore, fuel cells are utilized to replace batteries and provide the solution for UPS systems with high efficiency, long lifespan, high reliability, long backup time and environmental friendliness. Based on the characteristics of Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell (PEMFC) and demands of UPS, this project focuses on the power conversion architecture and control method which are suitable for Fuel Cell UPS (FC-UPS) system. The high-efficiency power conversion from hydrogen to AC output is obtained and economical efficiency of FC-UPS is also improved. Due to inherent characteristics of PEMFC, power management of FC-UPS is investigated to match FC with the load. In order to further enhance lifespan and reliablity of FC-UPS system, the idea that short-lived electrolytic capacitors are eliminated is proposed and investigated. Then, the seamless tranfer control strategy among different operating modes is proposed to address the problem of fuel cell cold-start and ensure the uninterruptible load voltage and fuel cell safety.
