中文摘要: 级联激光尾波场电子加速器中,电子束在相邻两级间的耦合过程影响着输出电子束的性能,因此控制电子束在各加速级中的注入过程是调控输出电子束性能的一种可行方案。本项目主要利用粒子数值模拟方法研究强激光驱动的级联尾波场电子加速器中的电子注入和加速过程,以获得可控性能的电子束为目的,拟解决激光驱动的级联尾波场电子加速研究中的电子注入机制及其对输出电子束性能的影响规律等问题。本项目通过探索级联尾波场电子加速器中的电子注入规律,研究电子注入过程对于激光和等离子体参数的依赖性,揭示输出电子束的空间特性、能谱性能与注入过程的联系,通过对激光和等离子体参数的调控,实现对输出电子束性能的控制。根据揭示的电子注入规律,结合当前级联尾波场电子加速的实验条件,对各加速级的电子束与尾波场的匹配进行综合设计,给出能够实现可控性能的电子束输出的实验参数,为以自由电子激光器等应用为目标的级联激光尾波场电子加速实验提供指导。

英文摘要: The process of the electron coupling between the adjacent accelerators in the multi-staged laser-driven electron accelerators affects the qualities of the output electron beams, so the control of the electron injection in each stage of the accelerators is a promising solution for the adjusting of the qualities of the electron beams. The goal of the project is to investigate the laser-driven accelerator with controllable output electron beams using particle-in-cell simulation method. The study targets the mechanism of the electron injection and the acceleration in order to find the effects of the injection on the final electron beams. The project will mainly explore the process of the electron injection in a staged laser-driven wakefield accelerator, and study the dependence of the electron injection on the laser and plasma parameters. Based on the dependence of the spatial and spectral qualities on the electron injection progress, the control of qualities of the electron beams will be achieved by controlling the input parameters of the laser pulse and plasmas. According to the current experiment conditions, the instruction of the optimized parameters under which controllable electron beams can be obtained will be given for the staged laser-drvien wakefield acceleration experimens aming at the application in free
