中文摘要: 本项目研究稀土化合物和含有多羟基功能性底物分子反应,在温和条件下原位制备烷氧基稀土活性中心,用于引发内酯、环碳酸酯和丙交酯等环状单体的活性开环聚合,研究聚合反应机理和动力学。探索催化体系和聚合方法,能够在具有生物活性或功能性底物分子上定量地引发聚合反应,制备结构明确、可设计链长、窄分子量分布的可降解高分子(共)聚合物。运用量子化学方法计算催化剂活性中心结构和能量,结合实验表征手段,探究活性开环聚合反应本质,明晰邻位羟基对聚合活性中心稀土原子的配位作用,实现在羟基上定量和选择性引发聚合。提出反应条件温和、催化剂活性高且残留少、具有普遍适应性的聚合反应方法,项目具有创新性和实际应用价值。

英文摘要: The project investigates reactions of rare earth compounds with functional molecules containing multi-hydroxyl groups, in-situ preparation of rare earth alkoxide active centers in mild reaction conditions, living ring-opening polymerization of lactones, cyclic carbonates and lactides, as well as mechanism and kinetic studies. With novel catalysts and polymerization method, the quantitative initiations and polymerizations upon the bio-molecules and functional compounds produce well-defined bio-degradable (co)polymers with narrow molecular weight distributions. Quantum chemistry calculation is applied to clarify the geometries and energies of catalysts and reaction intermediates. Together with experimental characterization techniques, the nature of the coordination of alpha-hydroxyl group with rare earth metal is comprehended. This research provides an effective ring-opening polymerization catalytic system in mild reaction conditions.
