中文摘要: 干旱是我国玉米生产面临的首要限制因素。本研究将用448个自交系组成的玉米关联分析群体和高密度的遗传图谱(102万SNP标记),对玉米苗期和开花期的耐旱性进行全基因组关联分析,并结合旱胁迫条件下的基因表达调控网络分析(eQTL),以确定控制玉米耐旱性的关键基因(位点),并剖析其分子遗传基础。同时,我们将通过玉米干旱诱导表达基因突变体(ZmCIPK1、ZmCIPK9和几个ZmPP2C基因)和玉米旱敏感突变体(sw1和ls),解析和验证部分关键候选基因在玉米对干旱胁迫反应中的功能。本研究将有助于我们进一步解析玉米耐旱性的遗传基础,为我国玉米耐旱育种提供理论指导以及具有潜在应用价值的新基因。

英文摘要: Drought is one of the most important environmental factors affecting maize production in China. This proposal will use a natural maize population including 448 inbred lines to make the genome-wide association mapping and the gene regulation network analysis under drought stress to explore the loci responsible for maize drought tolerance and the molecular mechanism of their functions. At the same time, several Mu-insertional mutants of drought-inducible genes, including ZmCIPK1, ZmCIPK9 and several ZmPP2C genes, and drought-sensitive mutants (sw1 and ls) will be also used to explore the functions of these candidate genes in maize tolerance to drought stress. The results of this research will help us in the understanding of the genetic architecture of maize drought tolerance and supply novel candidate genes in maize improvement for drought tolelrance.
