中文摘要: 在自由空间激光通信领域,大气湍流效应是不可回避的问题,限制了长距离、高码率无线光通信链路的有效性和可靠性。研究表明,采用自适应光学技术补偿大气信道中的湍流效应是提高光通信系统效能的最佳方案之一。本项目结合光纤光学、自适应光学、相干合成和光通信的技术特点,提出了一种基于光纤激光相控阵的自由空间激光通信技术方案。设计一种基于阵列化相位校正光纤激光准直器件的无线激光通信端机,在新型控制方法下具有双向收发、全光纤、对大气湍流相差实时校正的特点。将展开新型光纤激光相位校正器件和相位控制方法的研究,并将搭建实验平台,在大气环境中检验该技术的可行性和有效性。本项目的实施,将有助于推动光纤相控阵新技术在自由空间激光通信领域的应用。

英文摘要: Atmospheric turbulence is an unavoidable problem in free-space laser communications, which limits the availability and reliability of long-distance, high code-rate wireless laser communications. Research shows that adaptive optics technique is one of the best solutions to mitigate the influence of atmospheric turbulence and improve the performance of laser communications. Considering the specialties of fiber optics,adaptive optics, coherent combining and laser communications, a free-space laser communications technique based on fiber laser phased array will be put forward in this program. An optical transceiver for wireless laser communications will be designed using all fiber-optic devices, aperture synthesis technique, and new-style phase control fiber laser devices and phase control algorithm. A solution for bidirectional communications using fiber laser phased array will be explored. Key devices and phase control method will be investigated. An experimental platform will be setup, and the feasibility and availability of this program will be tested in the real atmospheric environment. The implementation of this program will be useful to explore applications of new fiber array techniques in free-space laser communications.
