中文摘要: 以WWW、P2P为代表的内容共享业务构成当前互联网的主流业务,其非对称性传输特征,是导致网络结构、服务模式产生矛盾因而造成带宽严重浪费的根源,越来越引起学界和业界的重视。如何解决互联网在承载内容共享业务方面存在的问题,成为未来网络研究的重要方向。本课题主要研究内容:从共享业务的非对称性入手,建立网络的物理模型、逻辑模型和流量模型,分析非对称内容共享网络的时空动态演化规律;研究产生拓扑失配的原因,分析拓扑一致性影响网络性能的机理,提出基于动态用户兴趣的拓扑适配方法;探索路由节点缓存和用户缓存的优化配置分布原理,以及缓存内容更新策略,研究分布式缓存机制中网络资源动态共享的规律性;开发针对非对称网络的仿真平台,为各项相关研究提供实验支撑。本课题的总体目标是通过研究网络流量、拓扑失配、分布式内容缓存、用户兴趣等问题中蕴含的科学规律,提出创新的理论与方法,为实现以内容共享为中心的未来网络奠。

英文摘要: Content sharing applications such as WWW and P2P account for a large fraction of internet tracffic. The asymmetry property of such traffic creates contradictions among network architectures, service models and user's requirement for content sharing. That is the reason why the problem of bandwidth waste is serious. Resolving the problems exist in current internet with respect to content sharing is of fatal importance for the development of future Internet. Therefore, this project will focus on the asymmetry of content sharing traffic and develop a series of theories, methods and technologies to solve the traffic optimization problem. First, by modeling the topology of network (both physical and logical) and different types of traffic, this project is going to studying the dynamics of content sharing and deducing corresponding evolution laws. Second, this project will do some research on topology consistency, including exploring the reason of topology mismatch, analyzing its effect on network performance, finding some solutions for increasing consistency based on user interest. Third, this project plans to develop new mechanisms for distributed content caching based on routers and clients, including deploying the caching nodes dynamically, updating the content in cache in accordance with user interest, allocating
