中文摘要: 高分子拓扑结构及其设计合成一直是高分子化学领域非常活跃的研究内容,并在很多科学领域具有重要应用前景,利用多种聚合机理的协同作用是高分子拓扑结构合成化学中的一个重要途径。本项目计划研究一种新颖的引发剂单体的同步多重活性自由基聚合体系,该体系利用RAFT链转移剂与活性自由基之间的缩合反应,实现超支化分子之间的的偶联,并以此为基础,合成基于超支化分子球偶联的多种高分子拓扑结构,如一维珍珠链结构、Janus结构或更长的杂化珍珠链结构。该方法的特点在于可以从小分子单体"一锅法"直接聚合成低维数的三维拓扑结构,很好体现了高分子合成化学的特点和优势。

英文摘要: The design and synthesis of polymeric topological structures have been of the active research subjects in the fields of polymer chemistry, and have found diversity of applications in many other scientific fields. Taking synergistic actions of multiple "living radical" polymerization mechanisms in synthetic chemistry is an important approach to the formation of topological macromolecules. This proposal puts forward a novel concept of concurrent multi-controlled living radical polymerization of inimers. An inimer bearing an NMP or ATRP initiating site is polymerized in the presence of a RAFT chain transfer agent. Self-condensing living radical vinyl polymerization of inimers yields hyperbranched polymers, which will be coupled to each other through the condensation between a RAFT agent and a radical. Novel topological macromolecules, such as a pearl-necklace structure constituted of repeating hyperbranched polymer "pearls", Janus particles,etc, can be possibly synthesized through this approach. The novelty of this approach lies in that this is a one-pot strategy for producing one-dimensional polymeric nanomaterials starting from a single inimer, as polymerization chemistry usually does.
