中文摘要: 基于拉曼增益的分布式反馈(DFB)光纤激光器不仅具有光纤兼容性好、体积小、成本低、大功率输出、宽可连续调谐、低噪和窄线宽等优点,而且可以实现任意波长的输出。它在长距离相干通信、光纤传感和激光雷达等领域具有非常广泛的应用前景。为了克服目前拉曼DFB光纤激光器的阈值较高和不可调谐等关键技术问题,项目提出研究波长可连续调谐、低阈值且脉冲型拉曼DFB光纤激光器的基础理论、设计方法及关键技术。重点研制具有超高Q值且较长有效腔结构的非均匀相移的DFB光纤光栅,利用脉冲泵浦源,理论和实验实现可连续调谐、低阈值(<100 mW)且大功率输出(输出峰值功率 >10 W)的拉曼DFB脉冲光纤激光器。该研究成果对推动拉曼DFB光纤激光器的实用化进程将起到关键的重要作用,且为我国具有自主知识产权光纤激光器及传感的发展做出贡献。

英文摘要: A Raman gain-based distributed-feedback(R-DFB) fiber laser not only possesses the features of fiber compatibility, compact, low cost,high power output, broad-band continuously tunability, low noise and narrow-linewidth, but also it can be generated at any wavelength ranging from visible to infared. These attractive characteristics have let to R-DFB fiber lasers finding a number of applications in the areas of long-distance coherence telecommunications, fiber sensing and Light Detection and Ranging(LIDAR). In order to overcome the main issues of the current R-DFB fiber lasers of high lasing threshold power and non-tunability, here, we propose to investigate the fundamental principle,cavity design and key techniques of continuously tunable, low threshold and pulsed R-DFB fiber lasers. We focus on designing a creative phase-shifted non-uniform DFB fiber cavity, which has ultra-high Q-factor and long effective cavity length. By employing a pulsed fiber laser as the pump source, we aim to both numerically and experimentally demonstrate a continuously tunable, low threshold pump power (<100 mW) and high output peak power (>10 W) R-DFB fiber laser.
