中文摘要: 人的视觉感知是人类获得信息的主要手段,对所处环境和周边事物的关联和理解能力、快速响应和精确判断的能力都是目前计算机视觉系统无法达到的。由于目前人类对自身的视觉发育和视皮层信息传递的研究不够深入,限制了已有的视觉模型和算法对人类视觉系统的模拟,导致计算机视觉不能完全借鉴和利用人类视觉的优点。本项目以当前相关学科对人类视觉的研究成果为基础,通过一系列的实验方法技术,研究人类视觉发育和视皮层信息传导过程,通过建立视觉发育数据库和统计分析模型,分析弱视患者和正常人的图像/数据及其与人类视觉发育过程的关系,以此为基础,建立人类视觉发育与视皮层信息传导模型,提出一整套基于人类视觉机理的计算机视觉算法,开发弱视眼病诊断系统。项目成果对于揭示人类视觉发育及信息传导过程,探索计算机视觉新方法以及弱视的早期诊断等方面具有重要的科学研究意义和应用价值。

英文摘要: Visual perception is the primary access to information for human, and its remarkable abilities, including correlating the environment and surrounding objects and interpreting them, giving responses rapidly, and making decisions accurately, are still superior to the best computer visual systems. Researches about the development of human visual system and information transmission in the visual cortex is not deep enough, therefore, the existing visual models and algorithms can not simulate human visual system efficiently and completely, and computer vision does not take full advantages of human vision.This project, on the basis of related researches about human visual system, aims at exploring visual system development and information transmission in visual cortex. By establishing database for development of visual system and statistical analysis model, we are able to analysis the data of both normal people and amblyopia patients as well as its correlation to the visual development. Based on above work, it is possible to derive a model of visual development and information transmission in visual cortex and thus, propose a system of computer vision algorithms based on human vision system.
