中文摘要: 全球变暖背景下,东海黑潮的平流热输运变异显著,对我国环境、气候产生了巨大影响。东海黑潮的流场变异是平流热输运变异的重要组成部分,同时受大洋内部信号的调制和近海海气、地形等影响,在全球变暖背景下的变异趋势、范围尚不明确,严重阻碍了对黑潮平流热输运变异的定量分析和预测,是当前亟待解决的关键科学问题之一。本项目以东海黑潮流场为研究对象,在充分使用各种资料,包括最新的CMIP5全球变暖研究结果等进行数据提炼、分析的基础上,通过降尺度高分辨率区域数值模拟技术明确全球变暖背景下东海黑潮流场的变异趋势、范围和相关动力机制。以局地(如季风)、非局地(如PDO)作用的区分为切入点,在最终变化上考虑多尺度因子叠加产生的作用结果,定量的明确不同因子对流场变异的贡献和作用过程。通过本研究,可以为认识理解西边界流在全球气候变化中的作用,完整黑潮时空多尺度变异研究框架,提高对中国近海海洋环境的预测能力做出贡献。

英文摘要: Under global warming background, the heat advection of Kuroshio in the East China Sea changes a lot. This variation has a tremendous impact on our nation's coastal marine environment, weather and climate. The Kuroshio velocity field's variation is an important part of the change of the above mentioned heat advection. The velocity field is modulated both by open ocean signals and by air, sea phenomenons or topography in the marginal seas. Trend and scope of this velocity field's variation under global warming is still unclear, that seriously hindered the quantitative analysis and prediction of Kuroshio heat advection. Therefore, the variation of Kuroshio velocity field under the background of global warming is one of the key scientific issues unsolved. This project studys on the East China Sea Kuroshio velocity field. Based on full use of a variety of data and information, including the latest CMIP5 global warming research results (Coupled Model Intercomparison Project Phase 5 by IPCC), we plan to operate several numerical simulations with high-resolution regional downscaling techniques, to clearly express the trend, range and related dynamic mechanism of the East China Sea Kuroshio velocity field's variation.
