中文摘要: Pd催化剂能催化分解甲酸和Pd催化剂对甲酸氧化的电催化稳定性不好是直接甲酸燃料电池(DFAFC)的两大问题。而且Pd催化剂对甲酸氧化的电催化稳定性不好与Pd催化剂能催化分解甲酸有关,因为Pd催化剂催化分解甲酸时会产生少量CO,而CO能毒化Pd催化剂。因此,必须研究降低Pd催化剂催化分解甲酸的性能的原因和机理进行详细研究,本项目计划研究在Pd催化剂中加入不同元素对催化分解甲酸性能的影响及规律性、在电解液中加入各种化合物对催化分解甲酸性能的影响及规律性、降低催化分解甲酸时产生CO量的方法等。为解决在DFAFC中甲酸分解问题和DFAFC早日商业化打下坚实基础。

英文摘要: The decomposition of formic acid over the Pd catalyst and the poor electrocatalytic stability of the Pd catalyst for the oxidation of formic acid are two big problems of the direct formic acid fuel cell (DFAFC). Furthermore, the poor electrocatalytic stability of the Pd catalyst for the oxidation of formic acid is related to the decomposition of formic acid over the Pd catalyst, because the decomposition of formic acid over the Pd catalyst can produce some CO and CO can poison the Pd catalyst. Thus, it is necessary to investigate the the reason and mechanism of inhibition of the decomposition of formic acid over the Pd catalyst. This item plans to investigate the effect and regularity of the decrease in the decomposition of formic acid over the Pd catalyst caused by the addition of the different elements into the Pd catalyst and the addition of some compounds in the electrolyte. The method of the decrease in the amount of CO produced by the decomposition of formic acid should be also investigated. It would be laid a solid foundation for solving the problem of the decomposition of formic acid in DFAFC and the early commercialization of DFAFC.
