中文摘要: 腔诱导透明是电磁诱导透明与腔量子电动力学结合起来的当今量子光学领域的新的交叉科学前沿。本项目拟利用描述强耦合条件下的腔与原子相互作用的量子理论,研究几个光子甚至单光子水平条件下的腔诱导透明特性。主要内容包括:基于腔内只有几个甚至单个光子的条件,结合传统的电磁诱导透明理论, 探讨原子-腔强耦合系统中产生少光子腔诱导透明的有效方案;探讨单光子量级条件下的线性及非线性光学特性,在少光子腔诱导透明系统中实现弱吸收甚至无吸收条件下的强交叉相位调制效应,探讨在腔诱导透明系统中获取单光子水平下大的非线性相移新机制;提出实现单光子水平的量子开关新方案;结合腔诱导透明条件下的线性非线性光学特性,研究腔诱导透明系统的量子非破坏测量、Fock态的制备以及单光子态的探测、制备等特性,并在此基础上进一步探寻单光子量级腔诱导透明系统在量子信息过程中的应用。

英文摘要: Intracavity electromagnetically induced transparency is the combination of the two workhorse techniques from quantum optics: electromagnetically induced transparency and cavity quantum electrodynamics. According to the quantum theory of cavity field and atoms in the strong coupling regime, we plan to investigate the behavior of intracavity electromagnetically induced transparency for few-photon or even single photon. Under the condition of few-photon and even single photon, employing the theory of electromagnetically induced transparency, we will study the linear and nonlinear optical response for the atom-cavity coupling system, propose the scheme to generate the large cross-phase modulation and further investigate the quantum switching effect for single photon level; we will also investigate the behavior of quantum nondemolition measurement, preparation of Fock state, generation and detection of single photon state and other applications in quantum information processing.
