中文摘要: 多天线MIMO是未来无线通信系统如LTE-Advanced和4G移动通信系统的核心技术,然而其性能主要取决于信道状态信息等参数的准确性。实际中这些时变参数很难精确获得,因此考虑系统参数不确定性的鲁棒性设计是保证和提高MIMO通信系统性能的关键。本课题拟针对MIMO通信系统的各种应用场景,如点对点MIMO、多用户MIMO、多小区MIMO协同通信、MIMO自组织网络、MIMO认知无线电等,分别提出高效的鲁棒性数据传输策略。课题研究将遵循最坏情况和概率受限等先进的鲁棒性设计思想,采用凸优化、鲁棒性优化、分布式优化、优化受控理论、博弈论、变分不等式等前沿优化理论的最新成果,设计适用于各种MIMO通信系统的鲁棒性功率分配、预编码/波束形成、联合最优收发信机、分布式网络算法等传输策略。本课题将在鲁棒性MIMO传输理论上有所突破,并兼顾新型移动通信的实际应用,为未来移动通信系统的鲁棒性设计提供技术支撑。

英文摘要: MIMO transmission, arising from using multiple antennae, is the key technology of future wireless communication systems such as LTE-Advanced and 4G mobile communication systems. Nevertheless, it is well known that the performance of MIMO communication systems depends, to a substantial extent, on the accuracy of system parameters such as the channel state information. In practice, however, these time-varying parameters can only be imperfectly obtained, which thus calls for robust designs that take into account uncertainty of the system parameters to guarantee and even improve the performance of MIMO systems. The goal of this project is to study and propose efficient robust data transmission strategies for a variety of MIMO systems, including point-to-point MIMO communications, multiuser MIMO systems, multi-cell MIMO cooperative systems, MIMO ad-hoc networks, MIMO cognitive radio and etc. Our research will be based on advanced robust philosophies such as worst-case robustness and probabilistically-constrained robustness, and invoke the latest results from advanced optimization theories such as convex optimization, robust optimization, distributed optimization, majorization theory, game theory, and variational inequalities, to design appropriate robust power allocation, robust receiver, robust precoder/beamformer,
