中文摘要: 车辆自组织网络作为典型的延迟容忍网络,近来受到了广泛关注。数据传输机制是车辆自组织网络研究工作的基础问题,其效率对所有应用的性能具有关键支撑作用。针对当前研究中通信数据路由选择的盲目性、对用户节点协作意愿的假定过于宽松的问题,本项目分析影响数据传输效率的关键因素,拟采用地理坐标和网络坐标相结合的方法,通过部署辅助RFID系统建立地理坐标系、引入网络坐标系统模型,进而设计定向路由算法以达到数据路由的优化;在数据分发时采用网络编码的方法,以提高传输可靠性和网络吞吐量;对激励机制进行研究,以抑制可能存在的"搭便车"行为。通过理论分析和仿真试验评价所设计算法与机制的性能,为车辆自组织网络的基础理论研究做出相应的贡献。通过本项目的研究,可望在理论上揭示路由节点可移动、网络拓扑剧烈变化、传输延迟抖动幅度大的环境下,如何提高车辆自组织网络的数据传输效率,为各种高层应用从底层提供更高的服务性能。

英文摘要: Delay Tolerant Networks (DTNs) are widely regarded as an important part and an complementary to the Internet in the next generation networks. Vehicular DTN (VDTN), an essential part of DTNs, has drawn extraordinary research interests from both network designers and application developers in recent years. A fundamental but also a major challenge to VDTNs is how to efficiently transmit or disseminate messages in such networks with intermittent connections and unexpected transmission opportunities. The transmission efficiency is crticical to the usuability of VDTNs for some applications. Based on our extensive survey on current related work, we think that current work on this issue still have the following weak points: 1) blind routing policy without the consideration of some VDTNs features (e.g., social relationship, vehicle route); 2) overly optimistic assumption that users are always willing to help in user cooperation based data transmission. To tackle the above issues, this project will include the following contents: 1) study on how to efficiently deploy RFID networks so as to realize accurate vehicle localization when GPS is not available due to various reasons; 2) introduce the network coordinate system concept into VDTNs to make message routing location-aware so as to improve the transmission efficiency; 3
