中文摘要: GPS浮动车数据包含丰富的动态路网交通信息且与传统固定传感器获取交通信息相比具有覆盖面广、成本低、全天候、信息丰富等明显优点。目前我国许多大城市正在建设GPS 浮动车系统,迫切需要高效的浮动车数据处理、管理与分析技术的支持。本项目以GPS浮动车数据为对象,主要研究内容包括:海量GPS浮动车数据的处理;GPS 浮动车数据高效时空索引机制;城市路网交通信息提取、交通状态分析以及城市居民出行分布规律分析。项目研究进展顺利,目前已发表论文37篇(其中SCI/SSCI 文章12篇,EI论文15篇,ISTP论文5篇);培养了毕业博士研究生3名;资助成员和学生参加了14个国际会议。通过该项目的研究能够为我国城市GPS 浮动车交通数据采集系统的建设、发展和应用提供有力的理论和技术支撑。

英文摘要: GPS floating car data reflects dynamic traffic condition of the road network. Comparing with traditional traffic sensors deployed at fix locations, the floating car sensors have several unique features, including large spatial and temporal coverage area, low cost, and plentiful traffic information. Currently, many cities in China are constructing their own floating car systems. Therefore, to support this trend, there is a need to develop efficiency and effective methods for float car data processing and managing. This project aims to fill this gap. The main research objectives of this project include (1) huge GPS floating car processing technique, (2) efficient spatiotemporal index of GPS floating car data, (3) traffic information generation and analysis, and (4) travel behavior analysis. The project has been completed successfully. The project supported research work including: 37 papers (12 SCI/SSCI papers, 15 EI papers and 5 ISTP papers), 3 PhD dissertations, and 14 attendances of international conferences. The models, and algorithms proposed in this project can be served as a solid foundation for the constructions, developments and applications of GPS floating car data collection system in large cities in China.
