中文摘要: 如何产生低能耗的自旋电子器件是近年来凝聚态研究的热点。自旋超流态对杂质散射不敏感,天然拥有低能耗的特性,因而具有巨大的潜在应用价值。在某些特定的磁性系统中,体系存在自旋为整数的玻色型准粒子。假如这类带有整数自旋的玻色子发生玻色-爱因斯坦凝聚,体系中将会出现自旋超流态。申请人基于在石墨烯、磁性材料等相关领域的理论研究积累,计划在以下三个方面深入研究磁性系统中的自旋超流物性:(1)石墨烯系统中的自旋超流;(2)反铁磁绝缘体中的自旋超流;(3)非平衡态磁性系统中的自旋超流。我们希望给出这三类磁性系统中超流的存在条件,并进一步分析其流体动力学特征。我们希望通过本项目的研究,能够深化对磁性系统中超流的理解,同时解释相关实验发现。

英文摘要: The fabrication of dissipationless spintronics devices manifests as a hot topic in present condensed matter research. The spin superfluidity, which is robust to impurity scattering, possesses the low dissipation property by nature, and has great potential in future device applications. In certain magnetic systems, the quasi-particles are bosons with non-zero spin. If these bosons condensed, the system will show spin superfluidity. In the project, based on our previous research experience on graphene and magnetic systems, we propose to investigate the spin superfluidity in following magnetic systems: (i) the spin superfluidity in graphene systems; (ii) the spin superfluidity in anti- ferromagnetic insulators; (iii) the spin superfluidity in non-equilibrium magnetic systems. We attempt to find the condition for the existence of spin superfluidity in these systems, and further analyze the hydro-dynamical characteristics of these superfluids. We believe that our studies will not only provide a comprehensive picture of spin superfluidity in these magnetic systems, but also explain the related experimental findings.
