中文摘要: 85Rb同位素是一种广泛应用于精密测量领域的介质,但我们它基态超精细跃迁频率的认识还停留在2E-9的精度。本项研究是建立85Rb原子喷泉,精密测量85Rb的基态超精细跃迁频率,将它的标定精度提高到优于3E-15。有望获得消除冷原子碰撞频移影响的喷泉钟。通过该频率与87Rb钟跃迁频率的比较,验证精细结构常数随时间的变化,及它与强相互作用常数的关系,验证大统一理论。

英文摘要: Rubidium 85 is one of most important isotopes widely used in precision measurenment fields, while the uncertainty of frequency of its ground state hyperfine transitions (FGSHT)is as low as 2E-9. The project will build a atomic fountain of rubidium 85 and measure its FGSHT with an uncertainty letter than 3E-15. the device is expected to a fountain clock eliminating the effect of collision shift. And by comparing the FGSHTs of two isotopes of rubidium, the experiments will be used to identify if the fine-sturcture constant varies following time and if the strong interaction constant varies following fine-structure as prodiction of Grand Unified Theory.
