中文摘要: 下盾螨亚科隶属蜱螨亚纲、中气门目,物种多,分布广,生态类型多样:既有生活在哺乳动物、鸟类的体表或窝巢,与多种人兽共患病的传播有关,具有重要医学意义的螨类;又是能捕食“韭蛆”、“蓟马”等农业害虫,具备生防应用潜力的螨类;同时还是研究中气门目进化生物学的理想材料。但是,长期以来,下盾螨亚科分类研究主要是报道新分类单元,专门的系统发育和修订较少,国内更是空白,问题分类单元与未知单元并存。本研究围绕下盾螨亚科分类研究的问题和不足,基于形态学和超微结构特征系统开展其中国区系的分类研究,发现并报道新分类单元;运用支序系统学方法进行系统发育研究,对问题分类单元进行修订;利用生物地理学理论,分析中国下盾螨亚科区系特征和分布规律。本研究将丰富我国下盾螨亚科物种组成,掌握中国下盾螨亚科区系特征,完善我国本底资料,为今后深入开展中气门目生物学、进化生物学研究和生物防治应用奠定坚实基础。

英文摘要: The subfamily Hypoaspidinae (Order Mesostigmata) is a large and widely distributed group with a variety of diverse ecological types. Some species are associated with birds and mammals (symbiotic or nidicolous forms) and involved in the transmission of some zoonoses, and therefore have medical importance. Some others are predators of fungus gnats, western flower thrips and other agricultural pests. Moreover the members of Hypoaspidinae are ideal model for studying evolutionary biology. For a long time, the majority of taxonomic study of Hypoaspidinae has being focused on new taxa, with few reports on phylogeny and taxonomic revisions. Many taxa described are doubtable so far, and on the other hand, there are a large number of taxa unknown in Hypoaspidinae. Together with reporting new taxa to scince, the present project will further systematic study of Hypoaspidinae based on external morphology including ultrastructure. By using cladistics, the phylogenic relationships within Hypoaspidinae will be reconstructed and some ambiguous taxa will be revised. By biogeographical means, the distribution patterns and faunal characteristics of Chinese Hypoaspidinae will be also investigated. The project will provide a detailed inventory of Hypoaspidinae with enhance knowledge of the hypoaspidine species diversity and illustrate the biogeographic characteristics of the family in China. It will develop a database for promoting biological and evolutionary research on Mesostigmata and developing biological control of pest by using prodatory hypoaspidines in China.
