中文摘要: 色彩是地图用于描述属性、等级、数量、空间分布等信息的重要视觉语言。色彩的设备相关性、环境相关性特点导致地图在跨承载介质、读图环境传输时极易出现色彩丢失、色彩变异现象,进而降低地图可用性与服务质量,甚至传输错误的地理信息。本课题从解析地图色域特征出发,构建地图色域描述模型,设计地图色域与设备色域双向映射模型及其全局最优求解方法,解决地图色彩设备相关性问题;通过地图色貌实验解析地图色貌与地图符号,制图对象几何形态、空间分布以及地图空间频率之间的关系,研究顾及符号特征与空间特征的色适应变换、色彩感知属性计算方法,构建精确的地图色貌变换方法,解决地图色彩环境相关性问题;面向多元化的承载介质、差异化的读图环境,耦合色域映射与色貌变换,提出完整的地图色彩管理方法并进行实验分析。本课题为地图色彩传输与再现、地图色彩传输一致性、地图色彩变异可预见性等研究与应用提供新的理论与方法。

英文摘要: The color of a map is the important vision language which used to describe information such as property, grade, magnitude and spatial distribution. The device-dependence and environment-dependence of map color would cause color losses and color deviation when the map is transported or displayed cross different media. As a result, the availability and service quality of the map would be decreased, and wrong geographic information can even be transmitted to the users. This research starting from the analysis of map color gamut's features will build up a model to describe the map color gamut. A bidirectional mapping model between the map color gamut and device color gamut and a global optimal method will also be brought up. All these are to solve the device-dependence problem of the map color. On the other hand, in order to solve the environment-dependence problem of map color, we will analyze the relationship between the map color appearance and the map symbol, and that among mapping objects geometric shape, spatial distribution and map spatial frequency by doing map color appearance experiment. We will also structure an accurate color appearance model for the map through studying chromatic adaptation transformation concerning symbolic and spatial characteristic and calculation of the color attributes.
