中文摘要: 随着激光二极管(LD)泵浦固体激光器的发展,探索新型的适合LD泵浦的近红外可调谐激光晶体成为研究热点。经过研究发现Cr3+:CaMgSi2O6晶体具有较宽的发射谱带,较大的吸收截面和发射截面,热学性能和机械性能良好且可用LD泵浦,与常见的可调谐激光晶体掺钛蓝宝石和紫翠宝石的性能相比也有不少优点,因此是可调谐激光晶体材料的潜在之选。本项目以Cr3+:CaMgSi2O6晶体为研究对象,探索该晶体的生长机理和缺陷产生机制,采用提拉法生长出大尺寸高光学质量的晶体。测定晶体的各种光学、热学和机械等性能。研究晶体的光谱性能,通过光谱分析,理论计算等确定最佳的掺杂浓度。开展LD泵浦激光实验,获得可调谐激光输出,并初步开展其应用研究。任务的完成将得到一种实用化的可调谐激光晶体。

英文摘要: With the increasing interest in LD pumped solid state lasers, research on more efficient new near infrared tunable laser crystals for diode laser pumping becomes more important. The research found that Cr3 +: CaMgSi2O6 crystal has a broadly emission spectrum and large absorption cross section and emission cross section. The crystal also has good thermal and mechanical properties and is suitable for diode laser pumping. Cr3+:CaMgSi2O6 crystal has many advantages compared with some common tunable laser crystals such as Ti:Al2O3 and Cr3+:BeAl2O4, so the results indicate that the crystal may be regarded as a potential laser material. This project will explore the growth mechanism and defect mechanism of Cr3+:CaMgSi2O6 crystal and grow high-quality and large-sized crystal by Czochralski method. In order to determine the best concentration of Cr ions the spectrum will be measured and the theoretical calculation will be analyzed. A variety of optical, thermal and mechanical properties of the crystal will be tested and the laser experiments will be carried on. The completion of the research will find a practical tunable laser crystal.
