中文摘要: 金纳米棒/二氧化硅核壳结构复合纳米材料(GNRs@SiO2)在化学、生物医学以及非线性光学领域有着广泛的应用。近几年来,新型纳米材料可饱和吸收体的研制及其在光纤激光器中的应用是激光技术领域的研究热点。GNRs@SiO2是新兴的可饱和吸收材料,然而它在超快被动光纤激光器中的应用尚待研究。本项目拟开展GNRs@SiO2材料锁模超快光纤激光器的应用研究。主要内容包括:(1)利用GNRs@SiO2材料光热稳定性和高损伤阈值的特性,在掺铒光纤激光器中获得200 fs量级的超快脉冲输出;(2)利用不同长径比GNRs@SiO2材料宽带可饱和吸收特点,实现波长宽带可调谐锁模运作;(3)依赖GNRs@SiO2材料的高非线性特性,实现高阶谐波锁模脉冲输出,并探索各种多脉冲现象,研究其产生的动力学过程。本项目旨在深入研究GNRs@SiO2材料优良的激光特性,对激光技术的发展具有现实意义。

英文摘要: Nanocomposites with gold nanorod/silica core-shell nanostructure (GNRs@SiO2) have wide applications in fields of chemistry, biomedicine and nonlinear optics. In recent years, the fabrications of the saturable absorbers using novel nanomaterials and their applications in fiber lasers are the hot topics in the field of laser technology. GNRs@SiO2 has been newly proposed as a rising material with the saturable absorption effect. However, the applications of GNRs@SiO2 for fiber laser have not yet been investigated. In this project, we will investigate the characteristics of the ultrafast fiber laser based on the newly proposed GNRs@SiO2. The following issues will be addressed: 1. By employing excellent photo-thermal stability and high damage threshold of GNRs@SiO2, the 200 fs pulse generation will be obtained in fiber laser. 2. By using broadband saturable absorption effect of GNRs@SiO2 with different aspect ratios, the wavelength tunable mode-locked operation will be investigated. 3. By virtue of high nonlinear effect of GNRs@SiO2, we obtain the high-order harmonic mode-locked pulses and further investigate multi-solitons dynamics in fiber lasers. Carrying out this project will not only further explore the performance of GNRs@SiO2, but also has very important sense to the development of fiber laser technologies.
