中文摘要: 用纯光学的方法获得任意所需的光学波形在光通信、光学测量和光传感技术中具有重要作用。本项目针对这一需求,提出了一套从全光光学梳状谱线产生进而通过谱线操控获得光学任意波形的新思路和新方法。项目将在光学锁模机理、激光器的注入锁定过程和光场相位控制方面开展工作,分析一种光学自反馈的全光振荡环路结构并用于产生初始光时钟信号并进而获得光学梳状谱线。它避免了传统方法中的光/电/光转换环节,极大的降低了系统的复杂性和成本。针对谱线分离和精确操控两个核心,提出基于半导体激光注入锁定的谱线分离方法和采用压电陶瓷(PZT)的空间位移谱线相位控制方法,可极大地降低波长对准要求、光路调节难度并在可调谐性方面具有极大的优势。此外,在谱线控制的相位精度方面可以以度为单位进行调节,能很好地执行任意光学波形产生的要求。项目将获得一套带宽50GHz的全光任意波形产生系统,其研究成果具有普遍意义,将有力推动光学信息技术的发展。

英文摘要: The optical clock and arbitrary waveform generation by pure optical way is very important in optical communication,optical measurement and optical sensor network. According to these appliction requirments,a set of new idea and method for all-optical clock,optical frequency combs and arbitrary waveform generation is proposed in this project. In this reasearch work, the mechanism of optical mode locking,the injection-locking in semiconductor laser and optical phase control will be carried out. In the secheme of all-optical clock generation, the modes in an all-optical oscillation loop are locked by optical feed-back, which is avoided the optical-electrical-optical transform in conventional configration.The complexity and cost is greatly decreased.Aimed to the two key functions of spectrum lines separation and precise phase control for a optical spectrum combs, a spectrum lines separation based on semiconductor laser diode injection locking is employed, and the spectrum line phase operation is realized by PZT controlled space shift, which greatly decrease the requirment of wavelength matching, optical path adjusting with good tunability. In addition, the phase can be adjusted by the precision of one degree, which can perfectly complement the operation demaind. Base on this project, an all-optical arbitrary waveform generation system with bandwidth of 50 GHz can be achieved.The research results has good significant and can powerfully improve the optical information technology.
