中文摘要: 从高分辨率影像自动识别和提取建筑物等人工目标一直是遥感领域的巨大挑战,到目前仍未取得突破进展,主要原因在于缺乏符合人类视觉特性的目标识别理论和方法。针对此问题,本课题从视觉心理学等方面加强地物识别的理论和方法研究,提出基于人类视觉仿生的目标识别研究思路。主要展开如下几个方面的研究:1) 根据格式塔心理学原理,研究基于视觉特性的图像主体结构提取和冗余信息剔除方法,模拟人类视觉具有过滤干扰信息、抓住主要特征的能力;2) 研究顾及视觉心理的图像特征提取新方法,使得提取的图像特征具有视觉恒常性,与人眼视觉感知相一致;3) 研究复杂背景下的多目标视觉注意模型,模拟人类视觉的选择性注意机制,解决建筑物感兴趣区域的定位问题。通过以上几个方面的研究,有望获得视觉心理学在图像特征提取和目标识别方面的一系列成果,推动遥感影像地物自动识别的理论进展和技术进步。

英文摘要: Automatically identifying and extracting man-made objects such as buildings from high-resolution remote sensed images has been a challenge for a long time in remote sensing application. The main reason is lack of mature theories and techniques of object recognition, which agree with the characters of the human vision system. Against to this problem, we try to strengthen researches on theories of object recognition from the perspective of the visual psychology, and propose a new researching thinking based on human vision bionics. The main researching contents are as follows: 1) According to the principle of Gestalt psychology, the first mission is to study methods for extracting principle structures and removing redundant details from a image, which similar to the human vision's ability of filtering disturbance information and grapping the principle features. 2) The second mission is to study methods for extracting image features, based on the human visual psychology. It aims to extract image features which have the characters of visual constancy, agreeing with the perceptual of human vision. 3) The third mission is to study the visual attention model for multiple objects with complicated background. It aims to simulate the selective visual characters to obtain the interesting regions of buildings. Through these studies above, we hope to obtain a series of useful research findings about visual psychology in object recognition for computer vision, which can promote the theoretical and technical progress for object automatic recognition from high-resolution remote sensed images.
