中文摘要: Heusler合金是一类极具应用前景的性能奇异的功能材料,其晶体结构的多样性和丰富的物理性质引起了科研工作者的广泛关注,但纳米尺度的Heusler 合金中与尺寸相关的结构和磁性特点尚未澄清。本项目采用成本低廉、灵活易控的液相还原法制备X2YZ(X,Y=Fe、Co、Ni,Z=Sn、In、Si等)型Heusler合金纳米颗粒,采用X射线衍射、穆斯堡尔谱、中子衍射等技术分析晶体结构及其原子排列有序度;研究Heusler合金纳米颗粒的晶体结构及其原子排列有序度随颗粒尺寸和化学成分的变化特点;研究Heusler合金纳米颗粒的磁性随颗粒尺寸和化学成分的变化特点。澄清Heusler纳米颗粒中表现出的不同于常规块体材料的结构和磁性特点,建立这类材料体系中结构和磁性之间的关联。为新型Heusler合金的开发及其实际应用奠定基础。

英文摘要: Heusler alloys are a remarkable class of functional materials with fantastic properties and potential applications. Heusler alloys have gained enormous interest for their variety of structures and plentiful physical properties. However, the size-dependent structures and magnetic properties of the nanostructured Heusler alloys have not been clarified. In ths project, X2YZ-type Heusler alloy nanoparticles will be prepared using solution reduction method. X-ray diffrraction method, Mossbauer spectroscopy and neutron diffraction technology will be used to characterize the structure and atomic ordering of the samples. The dependence of the sturcture and atomic ordering on the particle size and chemical composition will be analyzed. The variation of magnetic properties with the particle size and chemical composition will be investigated. The exhibited structure and magnetic properties that are quite different from conventional bulk materials will be clarified. The relation of structure and magnetic propties in this novel material system will be established. The work will pave the way for the development and potential application of the new Heusler compound materials.
