中文摘要: 本项目对分布于西北太平洋边缘海重点是中国沿海的5种广布性贝类(青蛤、中国蛤蜊、四角蛤蜊、扁玉螺和疣荔枝螺)为研究对象,利用线粒体和核DNA分子标记相结合的技术手段,对每一物种的分子系统地理学进行研究,阐明各个物种的遗传结构和遗传多样性水平,推测其生物地理格局演化过程和形成机制。综合分析5种广布性贝类的系统地理格局,在地域水平上比较物种间系统地理格局的一致性和变化规律,揭示历史因素(更新世冰期等)、当前环境(海流、长江冲淡水等)和生态因素(幼体扩散)对塑造西北太平洋边缘海贝类分子系统地理格局的重要作用,阐明该地区海洋贝类系统地理格局分布模式的普遍规律,探索中国近海贝类遗传分化的形成机制及演化历史。本研究对于中国近海贝类种质资源的管理保护及可持续利用具有重要意义。

英文摘要: In this study we compare the phylogeographical patterns of five widely distributed molluscs (Cyclina sinensis, Mactra chinensis, Mactra veneriformis, Neverita didyma, Thais clavigera) in northwestern Pacific with emphasis on the coast of China. The spatial structure and genetic diversity and the mechanisms driving the pattern are studied for each species using both mitochondrial and nuclear DNA markers. These patterns are then compared to assess the relative effects of historical (e.g. Pleistocene glaciation), contemporary (e.g. currents, Changjiang diluted water) and ecological factors (e.g. dispersal ability) on shaping present phylogeography of these species, with view into the interspecific concordance of evolutionary processes. This congruence can lend insight into the variation trends of the general genetic pattern as well as evolutionary history of molluscs in the region. Such information obtained here will be critical for the conservation and sustainable utilization of marine mollusk resources in the China Sea.
