中文摘要： 新疆拥有丰富而独特的多民族服饰资源，然而随着现代化进程的加速很多民族服饰逐渐消失，如何有效地对其进行保护、传承与再利用成为亟待解决的问题。 本项目的研究工作主要为：（1）对新疆13个世居民族服饰基元进行抽象和分类并完成数字化存储，构建新疆民族服饰图像数据库。通过利用基于内容的图像检索的相关技术，以形状、纹理、颜色和空间关系等多种特征信息的提取及其组合作为索引，以求提高数据库检索的效率和准确度。（2）为服装 CAD 系统提供数据的使用接口，为其统提供民族服饰数据基础。（3）建立基于网络的新疆民族服饰数据库应用系统，最大限度地实现资源共享与交流，促进民族服饰文化的广泛传播。

英文摘要： Xinjiang has a rich and unique ethnic costume resource,however with the acceleration of the process of modernization many ethnic clothing gradually disappear,how to effectively carry on the protection, inheritance and reuse became the problem that solves urgently. This research work mainly: (1) to abstraction and classification 13 Xinjiang ethnic minority costumes then complete digital storage, construction the Xinjiang nationality clothing image database.Through the use of content based image retrieval tecnology，to using shape, texture,color,spatial relations of many kinds of characteristics to extraction and combination as index, in order to improve the retrieval efficiency and accuracy.(2) for the garment CAD system provide interface for data, provide ethnic minority costumes basic data. (3)Construction Xinjiang ethnic costumes application system of database based on network to maximize resource shareing and the ethnic clothing culture widely spread.
