中文摘要: 互联网视频已逐渐成为网络流量的主要贡献者,认识和把握视频访问模型是网络和视频服务系统优化的基础。随着网络通信技术和互联网业务的发展,视频访问、产生和传播方式发生了巨大的改变,迫切要求重新刻画互联网视频访问模型。本项目拟通过对典型互联网视频相关数据集的分析,从用户行为模式、视频流行特征以及视频动态传播模型三个方面开展研究。本项目将刻画异构环境下用户行为模式和视频流行特征的异同之处,研究用户兴趣的局部性特征,提出基于潜在语义模型的用户兴趣提取方法。在此基础上,充分考虑用户行为、视频属性及用户形成的网络等要素,提出基于Galton-Watson过程和生灭马尔可夫过程的视频动态传播模型,从时间域和空间域两个维度刻画用户和视频之间微观作用机理。最后,应用分析结果和理论模型,改进并评估互联网缓存策略。项目的预期研究成果可为视频系统设计和网络性能优化提供指导,也可为在线广告等经济方面的研究提供科学依据。

英文摘要: Internet video is now becoming as a main contributor to the Internet traffic. It is critical to understand the Internet video access models for optimization of network and video service systems. As the development of communication technology and Internet applications, the patterns of video access, generation and diffusion have been greatly changed. The changes highly demand to re-visit the Internet video access models. Through the analysis of datasets gathered from typical video services, this project will study user behavior patterns, video popularity characteristics and video dynamic diffusion models. We will characterize the invariants and variants of user behavior patterns and video popularity characteristics. The locality of users' interests will be studied and a user interests extraction method based on latent semantic model will be presented. Then, by considering user behavior pattern, video attributes and the network formed by users, we will study Internet video diffusion models based on Galton-Watson process and birth-death Markov process. These models characterize the mechanism between users and videos from both temporal and topology aspects.
