中文摘要: 相比传统二维视频,三维视频数据量的显著增加对现有视频压缩和传输技术提出了更大的挑战。与此同时,云计算的兴起也为海量数据的高效处理提供了崭新的思路。因此,本项目将借鉴青年科学基金项目(No.60903066)的研究成果,从三维视频视点内及视点间相关性的理论研究出发,设计适应云计算环境的三维视频编码方案。具体内容包括:针对云计算的资源分配问题,提出基于分布式压缩感知的三维视频编码算法;针对云计算网络中的负载均衡问题,提出基于多描述压缩感知的三维视频传输算法;针对云计算网络传输中的数据包丢失等问题,提出鲁棒的虚拟视点合成;并以此为基础构建云计算环境下大规模的三维视频通信系统。研究成果可以广泛应用于三维视频通信、视频监控、视频点播、视频会议等领域。本项目的研究也将进一步推动我国三维视频技术的发展,为下一代视频服务相关标准的制定提供核心算法。

英文摘要: Compared with the conventional two-dimensional video, the amount of three-dimensional (3D) video data is significantly increasing, which poses great challenge on the current video compression and transmission. At the same time, the rise of cloud computing has provided new ideas for efficient processing of huge amounts of data. This proposal is based on the research of NSFC (No.60903066). By analyzing intra- and inter-view correlation of 3D video data, a novel 3D video coding scheme will be designed in cloud computing environment. The research contents are as follows. Firstly, according to the resource allocation in cloud computing, distributed CS based 3D video coding is presented. Then to satisfy the load balancing in cloud computing network, multiple description CS based 3D video transmission is proposed and robust view synthesis is developed in view of packet loss in the transmission over cloud computing network. Based on the above algorithms, large-scale 3D video communication system will be constructed over cloud computing network. The research results can be widely used in 3D video communication, video surveillance, video on demand and video conference. The research will also promote the development of 3D video technology in China and provide the core algorithms for the next generation 3D standard of video
